LEAPS.TV was created as a result of requests from the law enforcement and public safety community for a high quality source of information available 'at the desk', 24x7x365 and ... free or at low cost to the viewer. This sounded a lot like television to us, so we adopted a TV-like model to deliver law enforcement and public safety knowledge and, just like TV, our broadcast model requires lots of money and, just like TV, that means from sponsors, not from viewers. But, unlike the blatant, 'in your face' advertising of regular TV we chose a more PBS-like approach. We work with sponsors who are glad to help out and they should receive your admiration and appreciation for not over-burdening our programming, and website, with commercials, ads and pop-ups. We thank them for their financial and operational contributions, collaboration and support.
