Q What is LEAPS.TV?
A To our viewers L-E-A-P-S dot T-V is the online Law Enforcement And Public Safety training and knowledge transfer channel covering emergency calling (911, 000, 111, 112, etc), police, sheriff, fire/rescue, emergency medical service and emergency medical technician, emergency management, border and homeland security, corrections and related areas which provides no cost or low cost training. Q What is the difference between a LEAPS.TV Program and a Webinar?
A The reputation of web seminars, or webinars, has been tarnished: webinars are quickly becoming known as web-based infomercials. For this reason LEAPS.TV has distinguished our web programs from webinars in many important ways. The most important distinctions for our viewers are that LEAPS.TV programs are information rich and unbiased and, therefore, more likely to positively influence their opinions. The distinctions of greatest importance to sponsors are highlighted in the following table.

 
Q What is a LEAPS.TV SPONSOR?
A A LEAPS.TV SPONSOR is any individual, association, organization or vendor who pays for a LEAPS program which is subsequently made available at no charge to the LEAPS.TV audience. Multiple sponsorship levels are available and vary based upon payment of an initial fee, whether the SPONSOR will receive Unique Contract Records (UCRs / leads), and whether there is a minimum spending level required. As described later in this document the actual cost per UCR (lead) is dependent upon the sponsorship level which is chosen. It is not possible to change sponsorship levels after an agreement is reached for a specific LEAPS program but may be changed on the next sponsored program.

 
Q What is included in a LEAPS.TV sponsorship?
A

A sponsorship includes:

  • SPONSOR’S name and/or logo (with web link) on the program description page
  • SPONSOR'S name and/or logo on the LEAPS.TV program start screen
  • Special thank you to the SPONSOR in the follow-up email.
  • Possible inclusion of SPONSOR pre-reading materials (white papers, case studies)
  • Ability to archive LEAPS.TV content after re-run period (extra fees apply)
  • May include LEAPS.TV program advertisement in their marketing/sales campaign.
  • Unique Contact Records as per sponsorship agreement.

 
Q What LEAPS.TV Sponsorships are available?
A

The following LEAPS.TV Sponsorships are available:

  • ZERO RISK: No sponsorship fee. US$75 per unique contact record (UCR/lead).
    Must commit to purchase up to 100 UCRs.
  • COPPER: Flat rate US$1,000. Includes up to 50 UCRs. Intro offer: one time only. Only available for existing, scheduled programs before they enter syndication. Available programs are marked with a • on the LEAPS.TV Guide Page.
  • BRONZE: US$1,000 sponsorship fee plus US$55 per unique contact record (lead).
    Must commit to purchase up to 100 UCRs.
  • SILVER: US$2,500 sponsorship fee plus US$35 per unique contact record (lead).
    Must commit to purchase up to 100 UCRs.
  • GOLD: US$15,000 sponsorship fee. Includes all unique contact records (leads).
  • PLATINUM: US$36,000 sponsorship fee. Includes sponsorship and all Unique
    Contact Records (leads) for any three programs during a 12 month period.

Sponsorship fees must be paid in full in advance. Payments for unique contact records, if applicable, will be billed in two increments: when the live show has been completed and when the reruns have been completed. Invoices for unique contact records must be paid within 30 days of invoice date. Multiple sponsors for the same web program do not all need to be on the same sponsorship plan.


 
Q What is a Unique Contact Record?
A A Unique Contact Record (UCR) is a record with a unique email address for a person registered for a LEAPS.TV program. UCRs do not include LEAPS.TV production personnel, presenters or persons with the same domain as sponsors. It is possible, and likely, that there will be multiple UCRs from the same agency.
 
Q Is it possible to insure that I (the sponsor) will receive only one UCR per viewer organization?
A Yes, UCR Uniqueness can be guaranteed for an additional 7.5% per UCR. UCR Uniqueness will provide the first occurence of a UCR for the domain (part of the email after the @ sign) and will avoid duplicates in the UCR lists for live programs as well as for reruns. This service is only applicable for sponsorship levels that pay per lead.
 
Q How can I assure that I do not receive leads for prospects or even existing customers that I already have in my database? This is especially important to me because I plan to promote the LEAPS.TV program that I am sponsoring.
A LEAPS.TV offers a feature called UCR Uniqueness+. You provide an electronic list of email addresses and LEAPS.TV guarantees either that no duplicate emails OR no emails from the same domain (part of the email after the @ sign), your choice, are included in the leads provided to you by LEAPS.TV. LEAPS.TV will include your email addresses in our email blasts for the program but we will destroy your email list after the live program has aired. Any Viewer registrations as a reault of your list will, however, remain LEAPS.TV Viewers. There is a fee of 7.5% per UCR for this service. If both UCR Uniqueness and UCR Uniqueness+ are requested the fee for both is 10% per UCR. This service is only applicable for sponsorship levels that pay per lead.
 
Q My business is regional, just in the midwest, is it possible to segment the leads and for me to pay only for those in my territory.
A Yes, UCR Segmentation allows segmentation by state and certain other criteria so that you pay only for the leads that you need. Call your Sponsor Relationship manager for details.
 
Q How quickly and frequently will I begin getting UCRs to use as leads?
A UCRs are delivered within two business days after the live program and then within two business days of the end of the rerun cycle. UCRs for the prior week's registrations can be delivered on Monday for the prior week for an additional fee of 10% if the SPONSOR specifies RapidDelivery Service.
 
Q What is the most cost effective sponsorship for me?
A
The answer to this question depends upon how many unique contact records you need. The chart shows cost per lead for the Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum Sponsorships. The Zero Risk UCRs are always $75 each and the Copper are always $20 each so they are not shown on the chart. A sponsorship cost of $12,000 per program is used for the Platinum Sponsorship.

 
Q Does LEAPS.TV offer exclusive sponsorships?
A Yes. A sponsor may purchase an exclusive sponsorship prior to other sponsors committing for the price of two Gold Sponsorships. Exclusive sponsorships include the right for the exclusive sponsor to archive the sponsored program on their web site after the rerun cycle has been completed at no additional cost.
 
Q Is it possible to sponsor a program that is already on the LEAPS.TV Guide?
A Yes, it is, but please contact your Sponsor Relationship Manager as quickly as possible so you will get maximum exposure during the registration period. You will still get as many leads as your Sponsorship Agreement calls for.
 
Q Does LEAPS.TV produce programs specifically to Sponsor's specifications?
A Yes, as long as the program is full of rich informational content of direct value to our law enforcement and public safety audience, the program only contains product examples or demonstrations that support good, solid knowledge transfer on the topic and that any opinions are clearly identified and that the opposing view is properly represented. A sponsor may purchase a tailored LEAPS.TV program for the price of two Gold Sponsorships. Sponsorship of a tailored LEAPS.TV web program includes the right for the sponsor to archive the sponsored program on their web site after the rerun cycle has been completed at no additional cost.
 
Q How does LEAPS.TV compare with other methods of lead generation?
A A recent study by marketing firm JV/M, Inc. was used to develop a very complete online tool that marketing organizations are using to compute their own cost per lead and cost per appointment values. LEAPS.TV has used the calculator to develop a comparison chart to show how LEAPS.TV compares in cost per lead with other options available to companies marketing to the law enforcement and public safety community. In the JV/M analysis the highest cost per lead was in trade press advertising, the value of which is beyond question for positioning and visibility in the marketplace but highly questionable in terms of generating leads that must then be turned into appointments or demos and subsequently into sales. One must question the value of trade press advertising for any organization whose product or service costs less than $2,300. Next in line is direct mail ($1,700), followed by trade shows and conferences ($1,500) then in-house telemarketing ($345) and outside telemarketing services ($115). Depending upon the sponsorship level and the number of program registrations the cost per lead for LEAPS will average between $40 and $130, which compares very favorably with the alternatives. Q How can I maximize the benefits of my LEAPS.TV sponsorship?

There are numerous ways to maximize the impact of your LEAPS.TV Sponsorship:

  1. LEAPS.TV Sponsor Identity. Sponsors may use the LEAPS.TV Sponsor logo on their website, conference booth, advertising and other marketing materials for 12 months from the date that their sponsored live program runs. The logo, when used on a web site or in email, includes a link to the LEAPS.TV web site.

  2. Marketing Programs. Include sponsorship of a LEAPS.TV or customized LEAPS.TV program in your marketing program, emailing program, newsletter or other activities.

  3. LEAPS.TV Live. Sponsor a LEAPS.TV program that will be broadcast from a conference or trade show. This is a great way to generate publicity for a conference or trade show as well as generating additional leads from the show from people who could not physically be there. The live program can be broadcast from the booth or from a conference room.

  4. LEAPS.TV Presenters Live. Many LEAPS.TV presenters are available to speak live, in person for meetings, conferences and other activities. Contact your Sponsor Relationship Manager for more details.
